From ZOHO :Desktop Central is a Web-based, Network-neutral Windows Desktop Management Software for enterprises. It includes, Software Deployment, Patch Management, Asset Management, Remote Control, configurations, Windows System Tools, Active Directory and User Logon Reports. It supports managing desktops in Active Directory, Windows Workgroup, and Novell eDirectory. Desktops that are managed can be either in the same LAN or distributed across WAN. Supports creating technician and administrative roles to access the product with role-based restrictions. Actions performed using Desktop Central are logged for auditing purposes. Helps enterprises to comply with standards and regulations like HIPPA, SOX.
Version 6.0.2 adds support for managing desktops across WAN.
