Although its pictures are stunning, the screensaver Majestic Waterfalls is a bit of a letdown. After installation, the program opens the screensaver panel of Windows. You only get two of the three waterfalls, since the third one exists only in the registered version. The unregistered version lets you escape the screensaver only through the nag-screen menu, not by moving the mouse or by pressing any key--again, that's reserved for the registered version. Even the beautiful waterfalls reveal flaws. After careful examination, you might notice that the moving water is simply pasted into a still image, and the water animation itself is not particularly realistic or well-done. The waterfall sounds, on the other hand, are unimpeachable. You can turn the volume up, down, and off in the screensaver settings. The realistic and soothing audio elevates this otherwise average screensaver aimed at nature-loving home users.
