From Eskil Software :This utility reduces paper mess by allowing you to write notes and leave them anywhere on your desktop. The notes can also be minimized or resized. Magic Notes offers an easy-to-use toolbar interface that can be moved around the desktop for easy access to other programs. You can set an alarm for each note, hide your notes, and watch them reappear when the alarm goes off. Alarms can be set in several ways and can even repeat to remind you of recurring tasks. You can run a program or open a URL from a note, or attach sounds to events. Version 2.5 adds support for custom colors and a range of interface improvements.
