MacCollider for Mac

MacCollider calculates several hash values (sha1, tigertree, and md5) for the data forks of Mac files. It runs native in Mac OS 8.6 - X.1. It includes a link to the bitzi.com web site which coordinates metadata for all types of files. These hash values are cryptographic hashes which means it is infeasible to create a file that will produce a given hash value which makes the hash an excellenet unique identifier for the contents of a file. These algorithms will be used in future versions of Mactella. This is open source software so the source code for it is also available at the same web page.
