From Logiccell :mp3Trim is a simple and easy to use MP3 editor. Use it to clean-up and improve your MP3 collection. mp3Trim can trim MP3s-- removing the silence or unwanted parts. It can also adjust the volume of MP3s allowing the volume change to be manual or automatic (volume normalization). mp3Trim can fade in and out to fix abrupt beginning and ending points of a track. Most importantly, mp3Trim keeps the music quality intact, no matter how many times you process an MP3, because it works directly in the MP3 format without having to decode/re-encode. That also makes it very fast.

Version: MPTrim 1.91
Pros: Thought this program should exist - just wanted to get some worthless seconds off the beginning and end of some songs, and this made it easy. There's even a lot of additional features I didn't use, but looks powerful. Best part: Free, it works, NO INSTALL!!!, just a standalone .exe file.

Pros: Good and fast at handling reasonable (~ less than 7 min) mp3s.
Cons: The "limitations" section should be modified -- for large files the system asks you to consider a for-pay upgrade.

Pros: It does just what the developer says. no lies or hidden crap. It's just a simple program that does it's purpose. It's great to get your MP3 volume back up to the regular setting after ripping a CD that was burnt with Media player (It lowers the volume level for some gay reason)
Cons: you have to exe it everytime you want to run the program. Other than that it's good.
