Effective and flexible, LogMeister proves itself a useful tool. Point it toward log files and the program will collect information, generate reports, and react as you specify. For instance, you can receive an e-mail alert when you get more than three error messages within an hour or when nothing new has appeared in the log over a certain period of time. LogMeister can also be used as an RSS reader. The service component allows monitoring even when you're not logged in. System administrators and others monitoring a variety of log sources will find much to appreciate in LogMeister.Publisher's description
From Technology Lighthouse :LogMeister is a powerful solution to centrally monitor and analyze virtually any log your systems and applications can generate including Event Logs, text logs and RSS. It will alert you to critical events throughout your network, facilitate central archiving of log data and assist with analysis and meeting audit requirements. As LogMeister is a centralized monitoring solution there is no need to install agents on monitored PC's and servers.
In version 3.0.3, automatic expansion of system error code placeholders in event log entries is no longer applied if the event message appears to contain a URL.
