Loancalc is a program that will let you compute loan payments, declining balances, and equity schedules (running and cumulative) for fixed-rate loans with or without prepayment schedules. This is a great personal-use tool for determining both the cost-effectiveness of a loan, and how much the loan will ultimately cost you over time. Loancalc also offers a consolidation schedule that can provide you with detailed periodic accounting tabulations. In version 2.1.1, the loan term can now be a non-integral number of years and is not required to be commensurate with the number of payments per year. A bug related to the prepayment table was also fixed in this latest version.
