Publisher's description
From Resort Labs :Link Commander is a browser independent bookmark manager, that allows you to maintain and organize your Favorites. It comes with a built in browser display, and can also be configured to use Internet Explorer or a different browser to launch your Favorites. You can maintain multiple collections of bookmarks and organize each with custom categories. The two-panel interface makes it possible to work with two bookmark collections at a time. You can easily add new links with the help of a drop basket, or from the clipboard, verify your bookmarks to find broken links, password protect your collection, find duplicates and more. Link Commander can also be used as a complete (IE based) browser with tabbed interface that allows you open multiple web pages at once.
In version 3 build 521 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Link Commander 3.0 Build 521
"A very useful piece of software"
Pros: Being a user of multiple browsers, the least of which is IE, I was on the lookout for a program that'd allow me to use a single collection of bookmarks across Opera, Firefox, and IE, plus allow me to save said bookmarks in the native format of each browser. Every other program I came across was lacking in key areas... UNTIL I FOUND LINK COMMANDER.
For starters, Link Commander recognizes bookmark collections from all of the major browsers, IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox, and Opera. So you can pull in your bookmarks from one browser and save them in the format of another. In addition, you can set your Link Commander link collection to automatically synchronize with your IE Favorites folder.
But that isn't the only way to use Link Commander. Instead, you'll probably find yourself using it as your full-time bookmark manager, simply because of it's ease of use and flexibility. Links can be added to your LC collection via simple drag and drop, as well as through right click context menus or the clipboard. Used this way, Link Commander simply runs in your system tray so it's available when until you need it. You can also enable the desktop drop target which makes dragging and dropping operations extra convenient. Many common functions including search, add links, and even the loaded link collection itself, are available from the context menu of both the system tray icon and the desktop drop target. You'll find you can perform many operations without even having to launch the full GUI.
You'll probably find a number of other useful ways to use this program as well since it can be adapted to just about anyone's usage habits. With a top-rate support staff and a responsive development team, there's no reason to hesitate about purchasing this fine software.
You'll probably decide to purchase before your 30 day trial is even up. I know I did!

Pros: None
Cons: High learning curve. Not intuitive and difficult to figure out. Tech support is marginal at best.
