Publisher's description
From Kiwi Alpha :Fast and anonymous downloads from the LimeWire, Morpheus, Grokster, iMesh, BearShare and other Gnutella networks. Kiwi Alpha uses the same technology used by many of the leading P2P file sharing programs such as LimeWire, Morpheus, Grokster, iMesh, and BearShare. Kiwi Alpha protects the privacy of the user by connecting anonymously to the networked community. With Kiwi Alpha you can easily download all media types including audio like MP3, video like AVI, MPG, DIVX and XVID, images, documents, and software like games. To minimize the use of system resources Kiwi Alpha does not include a lame browser, a built-in player, or a chat room. That's why Kiwi Alpha performs great even on older systems. On the other hand, Kiwi Alpha features a handy play list, advanced search filters, and some nice options for fine-tuning the performance.
Version 2.2.2 features improved search filters and cuts down on the use of system resources.

Version: Kiwi Alpha 2.2.2
"Anonymous downloading is good. Super slow DL's are bad."
Pros: Small. EZ install/setup.
Cons: I have only used the free version. Almost no info in help or FAQ. No "forum" to ask for help. The worst DL speeds this p2p freak has ever seen, and I test 'em all! DL speeds 1kb/s to 30kb/s(little"b"), using high speed cable on a P3/1000/256/xp2. I get 10kB/s to 120 kB/s(big "B") with Limewire. Almost no tweaks or connection info available which experenced p2p'ers will find frustrating. You are limited to 5 simultaneous DL's according to the FAQ. If I leave it running all night it may get up to 7 or 8. But some of these are not really dl'ing, they just show as connected. Bottom line:waste of time, any other p2p will be faster.
