With Kiwi Alpha you can easily download all media types including audio, video, images, documents, and software. To minimize the use of system resources Kiwi Alpha does not include a lame browser, a built-in player, or a chat room. That's why Kiwi Alpha performs great even on older systems. On the other hand, Kiwi Alpha features a handy play list, advanced search filters, and some nice options for fine-tuning the performance.
Version 2.0.2 has improved file filtering to protect against potentially malicious files and fixes a problem with the resizing of the search window.

Pros: I like it and I'm keeping it. I love LimeWire, but Kiwi Alpha has much more search results. It connects to the whole Gnutella network,Limewire,BearShare,etcI noticed it used alot of memory, but that was the only downfall I could find. Kiwi Alpha shows no ads or popups,and my spy cleaners found ZERO infections. The downloads were fast and the search results were fast, also. I say try It, it's FREE! I give Kiwi Alpha 5 STARS,and TWO thumbs UP!
Cons: Takes up memory, close your other programs if you are short on RAM.

"LOADED WITH SPYWARE! DON'T BOTHER!"
Pros: FINDS FILES FAST BUT DOESN'T DOWNLOAD ANY!
Cons: TERRIBLE! RIGHT AFTER I INSTALLED IT I RAN SPYSUBTRACT,AND IT FOUND ABOUT 56 SPYWARE FILES, J.MARSHALL ETC! DON'T BOTHER WITH IT!

Pros: This program has no pros it just sucks
Cons: Cons: your computer will not restart with kiwi running and you will loose memory for your internet browser. Downloads are to slow at finding a host. You have to wait 5 min for a connection some times. And the lack of downloadable programs/files starts to get annoying. I have also noticed with this one is it runs like Kazaa fast one min then slow the next.

Pros: none
Cons: heaps of spyware and adware. and it i have diff. to connect to the network for some reason even i checked my window firewall setting and sygate firewall.
