Kiwi Alpha uses the same P2P technology used by many of the leading file sharing programs such as Morpheus, LimeWire, Grokster, and Shareaza. Kiwi Alpha protects the privacy of the user by connecting anonymously to the networked community. With Kiwi Alpha you can easily download all media types including audio, video, images, documents, and software. To minimize the use of system resources Kiwi Alpha does not include a lame browser, a built-in player, or a chat room. That's why Kiwi Alpha performs great even on older systems. On the other hand, Kiwi Alpha features a handy play list, advanced search filters, and some nice options for fine-tuning the performance.
Version 1.8.0 has a new implementation of the Gnutella specification for downloads from multiple hosts and offers better performance when disconnecting and reconnecting to the different P2P networks.

"Works very well, shame about the Adware and Spyware :("
Pros: Works fine, shame about the Spyware, it conects to many networks at once getting many results
Cons: The con is that is contains lots of Ads and Spyware :(

"Best file sharing since ages"
Pros: I tried to download the incredibles with kazaa and limewire and I just got fake files. With Kiwi Alpha I downloaded both CDs with no problems at all and in just over 1 hour. Absolutely recommended for movies!
Cons: Takes some time to connect the first time but later it's OK.

Pros: Did not work ARES will leave it for dead!
Cons: More adds than Television, the adds work fine? it`s a pity the program was not as quick as the adds appear to be.

Pros: Not a lot - I suppose it did find a few files that I searched for but......
Cons: the amount of spyware etc was piddling me right off as did the amount of time all my downloads were sat "pending"...
Not as good as others out there which is why I uninstalled - it just didn't make the grade
