Publisher's description
From Keybreeze Group :Keybreeze is a small, command-line toolbar that's only visible when you are using it. You can activate it by pressing a hotkey on your keyboard. Then you can type keywords to open files, folders, and websites. Keybreeze comes with over a hundred preset keywords, and you can easily make your own. You can also type commands to search the Internet, look up a word in a dictionary, check the weather, activate the screensaver, create a note, or shut down your computer. Keybreeze commands can be configured to perform more advanced options, such as automating your repetitive computer tasks, inserting custom text into a document, or changing the display settings of a window.

Version: Keybreeze 3.1
"Best addition I ever made to my system"
Pros: I wanted something like this for a long time. I was so tired of digging around in Explorer looking for a file that I use every day or having to keep so many icons on my desktop. I was going to try Launchy but found this. Keybreeze is a freebie, so I decided to try it first. It has changed by whole computer experience. No more wasted time. It is quick, easy and always there. No more wasted time, no more clicking. One of the things I most appreciate about it is its small size (I use the mini-dark skin but there are some a little larger and more colorful). It stays out of sight and appears only when I use the hotkey. Then it stays down in the corner where I placed it instead of jumping up in the middle of the screen and taking over. Then it just does what I ask of it and goes away quietly. : )
It does many thing I haven't yet tried but if it never did another thing but open my applications and put them where I want them, I'd be happy.
One more plus is that there is a forum and if you have an issue, a real person will answer your email. I highly recommend giving this near perfect little wonder a a try.
Cons: Not without a few little quirks and one problem. There have been a couple of files that it simply won't open. When I open the program's list of keywords I find what I'm looking for so I don't know why it is balking. I changed the keyword for one of these files and now it opens it w/no hesitation so it must be some conflict with another keyword or - who knows.
The other issue has to do with the hotkey itself. Everything is fine until I do a search in Windows Explorer using ";" between strings or anytime there the ";" is used without a space following. Keybreeze must be shut down until I'm through, or I can paste the semi-colon.
This is a relatively new product and improvements and upgrades are being developed. So these little inconveniences are acceptable to me and will probably be ironed out in the future.
