Unless you are an experienced software engineer you will NOT be able to remove Kaspersky from your computer. If you use Windows to Uninstall, Kaspersky lays eggs that upon rebooting hatch and reinstall the software all by itself. That folks IS the definition of MalWare/Viruses.

I downloaded a copy of this on C-NET. I checked it out for 3 days Then I paid for the Kaspersky Pure 3.0 for a year the next day I paid for the next higher version. It did slow my system down I just figure it was settling in to my computer. Boy WAS I WRONG!!Cons
When opening my computer it would take between a minute to two minutes where I can finally use my computer. I can say the software seemed to work. Everything worked as stated. But it seems to get slower every time I opened the computer. OH, I also bought the Malware software that week.
Well I tried it for 6 1/2 months. I deleted everything. It took me over an hour to get everything removed. Since I did the delete I have had several problems with my computer. I have had two techs working 8 hours on it. Finally yesterday it is fixed. They said I had several programs that had pieces missing. I think the software might have done the damaged BUT I'm not suppose say that, so disregard that last sentence.
I FINALLY got a hold of IObit. I asked for a refund because had spent over a $100 on their software and it DID NOT work.
GUESS WHAT they have no record of me buying their software.
SO NO REFUND!!

I'd used Kaspersky before and had no problems so I decided to buy this version. When I entered the activation code they gave me it said I had less than a month left. They recognized their error they emailed me a new code. When I entered it the message said it had already expired. I tried emailing them and have yet to receive no response. Now I have no protection and doubt I'll ever use them again.
Summary
I'm not saying never use Kaspersky but I'd like to warn people in case this could possibly happen to them.

It's obvious that Pure 2.0 had some very serious database update issues which inevitably plagued that build and caused Kaspersky to release 3.0 and it certainly seems that Pure 3.0 has addressed these issues.
Kaspersky Pure 3.0 also seems to be more stable generally speaking.Cons
The interface and help descriptions need much improvement for they certainly aren't designed to be user friendly, to say the least...and in fact do more to confuse the average end-user, rather than to offer comprehensive descriptions using proper grammatical context, so as not to leave up to interpretation the intricate settings that need to be clearly understood by the user in order to be configured correctly.
Summary
Bottom Line...Kaspersky offers some of the best security solutions available to date and should not be overlooked simply because of its lack of a non-user friendly interface and of understandable help descriptions.

Pros
After installing this program, the environment of my pc is safer and cleaner.
Cons
It takes long time to download and Install. Sometimes, it is not compatible with payment Plug-in unit or entertainment software.
Summary
Not so good and not too bad, just so so.
