This freeware program is a basic alarm clock with too few bells and whistles. Karen's Alarm Clock allows you to set five alarm times, but day selection is not available. You have two alarm choices: select a track from the CD inserted in your drive or pick the simple ding sound provided. This application is devoid of features offered by its competitors, including snooze and the ability to play MP3 or WAV files, and is missing a help file. Also, unlike similar applications, the program cannot be minimized to the System Tray. The interface resembles a large-face digital clock, with its black background and green font. The function is not intuitive as you have to click on the times and descriptions to make any adjustments. While the application runs fine, we can only recommend Karen's Alarm Clock for those who are deliberately seeking a no-frills way of staying on time.Publisher's description

Pros: Dowloaded a different one with higher editor reviews, but didn't like the interface, or the learning curve. This one was self explanitory and easy to use just like an alarm clock. I think editors missed the point. Not everything has to be complicated. I love this one. A+++++++ 5 stars

Pros: simple easy. very user friendly. exactly what it is just an alarm
Cons: can't use file from computer drive or ding only. I wonder if it will work with the screen saver on?

Pros: I like the full screen option the way it feels the screen with the time on a black screen (perfect for when I leave my monitor on................
Cons: I didnt like the fact that it only let me play music from a cd and not what was on my computer................
