Kantaris can also play DVD and audio CD. The player also displays beautiful visualizations for music. Kantaris is an all new media player based on code from VideoLan Client (VLC) and Bass audio library. Kantaris has a graphical user interface that is similar with Windows Media Player.
Version 0.5.8 fixes problem with Kantaris crashing if start up directory is write protected and various problems with the video library feature.
