Publisher's description
From Joe Stenger and Arlo Rose :Kaleidoscope alters your Macintosh user interface in a variety of ways, allowing you to choose the color scheme for your menu bars, windows, and buttons. Kaleidoscope makes it easy for third-party authors to write color schemes. New color schemes--including a BeOS color scheme--are part of the standard collection, and two new fonts have been added as well. The classic color schemes available in version 1.0 are now available as a separate download (see related link below). Version 1.8 allows you to switch to a scheme by opening it in the Finder (which is scriptable); fixes an "FPU not installed" error when clicking on certain menus; and optimizes the code for faster window, scroll bar, and menu drawing. Several other improvements and bug fixes have also been made.
Note: As with all beta software, you should use this program with caution.
