Who doesn't like Johnny Depp, Hollywood's most flamboyant pirate and goth hero? This screensaver features about 15 pictures of the versatile actor, ranging from magazine photos to movie stills. It provides a good feature set for a free download, offering users control over transition effects, image size, background, and the interval between images. A few special effects such as sepia tone are included. Any image can be used as wallpaper for a computer's desktop, and a virtual sticky note can be left on the screen while the program is running. No soundtrack is included. The screensaver comes bundled with a separate Internet Explorer toolbar, so be cautious if you don't want this extra component on your computer. The program may well appeal to avid Depp fans, even if other computer users are likely to look elsewhere.
