Publisher's description
From Tonec :Internet Download Manager is a tool for increasing download speeds and for resuming, scheduling, and organizing downloads. The program will resume unfinished downloads due to lost connections, network problems, or unexpected power outages. It can connect to the Internet at a set time, download the files you want, and disconnect or shut down your computer when it's done. It supports FTP, HTTP, and SHTTP protocols, MP3 audio files, and MPEG video-content processing.
Version 4.03 build 6 revises the Download with IDM feature for Internet Explorer, features improved download-link-capturing logic, adds download-link capturing from antileech plug-ins, and adds protection from faulty registry cleaners.

Version: Internet Download Manager 4.03 build 6
Pros: This program makes me love it for it's features and speed - even though it can be obtrusive and angry when you attempt to unistall it. Intergrates into Firefox without any added extensions or the need for Flashgot. The speed of your downloads is increased by atleast 15% in my case, and if you add file types such as RM and MOV - it will rip streaming media without a fuss.
Cons: My audio does cut out for a second or two upon the first download, but that is more than likely my soundcard than IDM. The other con is when you want to uninstall it - IDM acts annoyed.

Version: Internet Download Manager 4.03 build 6
Pros: Great integration into MS Internet Explorer (but you have to go to Manage Add-Ons to see the plugin) and allows your antivirus program to scan it.
My normal download rate is about 3.30Kb on a 56K connection. The program's d/l rate varies: from a low of 2.20 to a high of 5.1. It averages 3.8Kb.
Cons: Download speed isn't much higher than a non-IDM download. If there is a download accelerator in it, it's iffy.

Pros: Well, I tried this program and must say it's wery helpfull. I downloads tons of mp3 and etc. files daily and offen from very slow sites. I used Net Vampire for more then two years when I found this program. IDMan downloaded the same file almost 2 times faster! It's incredible! And it's quate stable to under my Windows XP. I even think about buing it after trial period. I recommend this product to all who looking for fast and stable download manager.

Version: Internet Download Manager 4.03 build 6
Pros: If you use dial up, ADSL or cable then this is the download manager to use. If you are a novice then there is a learning curve to master your downloads with this program. This program speeds up the service for people who use any kind of connection. I have DSL and found this to be very fast. The speed is faster and I did not have to explain how difficult, unreliable and slow to use the regular windows download manager to anyone sharing my connection. If you are using Internet and you are prepared to conquer this learning curve this is the one for you.
