From Infinity Solutions :

When Onyx is run, it collects tagged files from local or networked drives and dumps them onto a backup device. Currently Zip, Jazz, Syquest and secondary hard drives are supported. Onyx has never been tested with CD-R, CD-WR or MO. Though we are interested to learn how it behaves with those devices, we have no plans to test them ourselves.
