Indigo is a complete replacement for TELNET and Hyperterm and supports the following communication protocols. Auto. Indigo supports VT100 and Linux terminal emulation. Other features include: advanced data logging, a command library that allows file based storage for frequently used command sets, automated command repeater, hotkey accessible command macros, a data converter tool that can display data bytes as ASCII, DEC, HEX, OCT, binary, or a user customized representation, a serial pass mode that allows the use of two com ports to monitor data being transferred between two devices, a VB scripting interface that allows custom handling of imcoming terminal data. Version 2.0.57 has added support for SSH secure communications and VT100/Linux emulation.

"It was a Perfect solution for our need"
Pros: This App. is the Bee's Knees. It works and is extremely tailorable. The more I use it the more I find it can do! Plus Having spoken directly to the support staff I am already looking forward to future enhancements of this invaluable product. It should be in every comm/Ip persons toolbox.
Cons: In order take advantage of some of the more advanced properties I'm going to have to learn Visual Basic scripting.

"excellant software, Amazing support"
Pros: The emulator is neat, powerful and very easy to use. It even support com port number larger than 16 which was left out by a lot of other similar product. It also support baudrate higher than 115200(upto 921600. I got these extra features through their support email. Hopefully they will release it in newer versions soon (2.0.60) . Finally, I am saying good bye to hyperterminal, Could not be happier.

Everything hyperterminal misses.
