From the developer: "Iconoid is a desktop icon management tool. With it you can change icon text and background colors, make text backgrounds transparent, hide icons when you don’t need them, see them when you do (based on mouse pointer location). Iconoid can automatically determine the optimal text background color based on your current wallpaper or you can select your own color from a color box or directly from your current wallpaper. Win9X and ME users can save and restore icon positions for each screen resolution. The difference between Iconoid and other Save/Restore programs is that Iconoid goes to great lengths to intelligently move new icons out of the way of icons that are being restored so that you don’t have overlapping icons. Iconoid is very customizable but is not resource intensive. Use it with a system tray icon or hide the program completely. Iconoid includes other features for people who like to change their desktop wallpaper frequently or who just need an easy tool to handle some of Windows icon management shortcomings. Iconoid runs on Win9X/NT/2000 systems and includes some extra toys for Win9X users. Full Help and VB5 source included."
