From SillySot Software:Iconoid is a desktop icon-management tool with which you can change icon text and background colors, make text in the background transparent, hide icons when you don't need them, and see icons when you do (based on the mouse-pointer location). Iconoid can automatically determine the optimal text-background color based on your current wallpaper, or you can select your own color. Iconoid also saves and restores icon positions when your screen resolution changes.

"Does what it is meant to do."
Summary: If you need any fancy features and all the bloat they come with, get something else. If you want a fast, reliable little program that does what it is meant to do, get this program.

"Awesome; Use it on all my computers"
Summary: This is an awesome little program. I use it on all of my computers. The ability to have icons hide is a cool touch. There's something nice about coming back to just your sweet desktop background image on screen...without the usual clutter.

Summary: Most icon software has everything that this software does *plus* some actually useful features. If this was a 1K program, I still wouldn't waste the HDD space.
