Version: IconCool Studio 1.6.50825
"Very Very Pretty... unstable, buggy, incomprehensible UI, AVOID"
Pros: it's shiny.
Cons: Where do I begin. This is a prime example of something that LOOKS pretty, and the company advertises etc. and gets lots of publicity, but the functional design behind it, and the company behind it, are vacant. Don't bother trying to email them at any normal email address (support, info, sales, etc) everything bounces. To think I paid for this rubbish.
Avoid this software. Consider instead a combination of "Icon Designer" from StarDock, their free "32bit PNG to 32bit BMP graphic converter", and Ulead PhotoImpact (which has GREAT translucency and object-oriented bitmap editing) as a workable combination. That's what I use, and while it's not one coherent app, well, neither is IconCool crap.
