IconCool Icon Editor is an icon editor that has all the functions for creating and editing ICO, ANI, CUR, GIF, JPEG, WMF, EMF, TGA, and WBMP files. You can convert images in 25 formats to icons, and you can modify or replace icon images in EXE, DLL, ICL, or any other format directly. The program includes 60 image filters, including blurring, sharpening, embossing, diffusing, and color balance. It has 15 image effects, including linear gradient, radial gradient, rectangular gradient, WAV, 3D shadow, 3D button, text gradient effects, noise, and arbitrary rotation. Pros: Needed a quick icon creater from other file formats. Awesome quickly done and if you are computer literate is very intuitive. All done in half an hour even after shrinking and editing. Editing is very easy as well.
Cons: Help file could be better, but whose couldn't.
Would be nice if could handle Corel files, but it does handle Adobe so pretty much a wash for this.
Pros: A powerful software for editing icon easily . Especially, I found that it has unique image filter function which meets my requirement directly. It also has a friendly interface for us to operate. As a graphics designer, I like it very much.
Cons: I must point out that the speed for downloading is a little low. Maybe there are many users who are downloading.
