From the developer: "IVOS - Intelligent Voice Operating System is unique in its own sense. It has many key differentiators from its competitors like IBM's ViaVoice & Dragon Speak. IVOS : Its not just an Speech Recognition and Text to Speech utility like ViaVoice and Dragon Speak. It's a utility using which a user can have total control of his/her computer. The user can have a Chat with his computer. IVOS uses the AI algorithms for this Feature.

"Unlike ViaVoice and Dragon Speak, It controls all the Microsoft Utilities like Windows Media, Calculator, Paintbrush and so on. It can also control software's like WinAmp and so on. IVOS can also open and close any Program in the computer. The user can open a file called 'sample.ppt' by saying 'Open the file Sample.ppt'. IVOS then searches the whole Computer for such a file and opens it. It then stores its location for immediate opening, the next time the users says the command. The same principle applies to every program. The only thing that changes is the Sentence, which the user can define in the GUI we provide him/her with."
