As a simple history report, this application is quite suitable, though competitive programs offer the same and then some. IE HistoryView quickly displays the Internet Explorer history of any selected user on your PC. You'll see the URL link, site title, date, and the number of hits the user has made on the site. Comprehensive reports of activity can be saved and viewed in HTML, XML, or TXT formats. The find feature lets you quickly track down a specific URL using partial and whole word entries. You can also selectively delete entries on its customary main window, thereby maintaining certain ones for future use. While we wouldn't suggest using this application for full-fledged PC monitoring, it's great for keeping tabs on previous IE browser use.

IEHistoryView reads all information from the history file created by Internet Explorer, and displays the list of all URLs that you have visited in the last few days. It also allows you to select one or more URL addresses, and then remove them from the history file, or save them into text, HTML or XML file.
What's new in this version: Version 1.70 has added 'File Position' column, which displays the position of the record inside the index.dat file.

"Lets me keep track of where I've been!"

Pros
When I need to reboot my computer I often have many IE windows open. This little executable tool lets me quickly open the websites I want to view again. You can pick 1 day history or the total for a few months
Cons
Wished it had a way to globally search and delete, say, all my Amazon and Ebay searches at once, since I don't need to keep those.
