From Hyperionics Technology :

HyperCam captures the action and sound from any part of the Windows desktop and saves it to standard AVI movie files. It can capture cursor movements, menu selections, windows popping up, and everything else you see on the screen. The program correctly handles color palette changes if recording in 256-color mode. HyperCam allows you to pan the recorded area around the screen. It optionally annotates recorded movies with text and more. Previous updates added a Screen Area tab to record layered and semi-transparent windows under Windows 2000 or XP, and new interface features. The latest version includes the ability to set configuration for all users or just the current user.

Note: This shareware version contains registration reminders. A single-user license is $30.
