"Great screen recorder for free"

Pros
Records your screen (video and audio), can record both opengl (games/videos/etc) or just your desktop (for tutorials/etc).
Free version has a watermark, but its really tiny and in the top left corner.
No limit on how long free version can record.Cons
video quality isnt the best, but again its free.
Summary
ALL video recording software is VERY cpu intensive, if your computer blows, it will be laggy, dont rate down a product becuase you are too much of a moron to figure out how much your computer sucks....
Some of the paid ones may be more optimized and not slow down as much, but umm this is FREE...
If you are looking to record games with good quality and less slow down, try fraps. ($37)
If you are looking to make hq tutorials with less slow down, look into camtasia studio (like $300), and at other guy, ofcourse camtasia is better, its $300 vs free.............
Alt free one you can try is camstudio, hypercam2 and camstudio are the only 2 free ones worth getting.
free ones are too great, people expect way too much out of free screen capture software... -

"It records too fast, during playback it's unwatchable"

Nothing, except it can record video.
Cons
When I record, EVERYTHING is laggy, even if I have one thing open. And during playback, it looks like 5 frames per second and if I record a 10 second video, it will be about 2 seconds. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!

Does not record audio from the selected video on a website. Tech support couldn't help me (and didn't put much effort into it). I uninstalled it. No purpose to this program if it can't record audio properly.
