Hotkeyz's intuitive interface divides hot keys into nine preset categories, including Control Panel, Desktop, and Internet. A simple table lists the 11 preconfigured hot keys that perform basic tasks like launching Internet Explorer, accessing the Control Panel, and adjusting volume. Novices will appreciate the step-by-step guide to creating their own hot keys, especially for more complex operations such as opening your Internet Explorer home page or automatically filling in online log-in information. A reliable help guide also eases the learning the curve.
Hotkeyz sits in the system tray when not in use, but of course, it has its own hot key combination. This user-friendly, effective freeware application makes it easy for anyone to create customized keyboard shortcuts.

Version: HotKeyz 2.5
"Great! Very flexible. Capable of way more than I needed."
Pros: I was just looking for a repetitive paste of text in my business app. Most programs didn't work in my app (regardless of price). This one worked great and at the right price.
One great feature is ability to have hot keys active in only the programs you want.
Setup same hot keys to three PC's very quickly.
Cons: Documentation a bit weak in some areas but e-mailed a question and rcvd answer within 6-8 hours. That's better than most products I've paid for.

Version: HotKeyz 2.5
Pros: The program is analog of Hot Keyboard and like Hot Keyboard helps to launch program, control volume. It also can help to fast correct tiped text (correct case of the selected text).
Cons: It has a bag in recording/playing macroses based on recording users action on keyboard and mouse. It can't to shange layout of text (in Russian letter is different from English and while typing it is very common error to type text after forgeting to switch a keyboard).
