The colorful lights flash on your desktop while you continue to work, so it's not just a screensaver. You can choose from more than 40 different bulbs suitable for any season, including standard Christmas tree lights,chili peppers, stockings, holly, snowmen, happy faces, Valentine's Dayhearts, Thanksgiving turkeys, Halloween jack-o'-lanterns, and more.Almost 40 songs are provided, and you can easily add more music bydownloading free MIDI files. Holiday Lights even includes a screensaverwith gently falling snow to put you in the holiday spirit. This update gives you the ability to add more bulbs. You can create your own bulbs from animated GIF files, or download bulbs from the developer's Web site. Some bulbs are not available until the program is registered. The cost to register is $19.95.
