Hilary Duff has already drawn a broad fan base for both acting and singing. This screensaver is aimed at that audience, with a selection of 18 pictures of the young star. Although we found the image quality to be fairly low, the software itself provides an extensive feature set, allowing users control over transition effects, image size, background, and the interval between images. A few special effects such as sepia tone are included. Any image can be used as wallpaper for a computer's desktop. But the screensaver comes bundled with two separate Internet Explorer toolbars, so be cautious if you don't want these extra components on your computer. The program may appeal to avid Duff fans, but other computer users are likely to look elsewhere.
