"Ticket Generation and Printing Problem."
Version: HandyCafe 2.1.34 se
Pros
It installed easily as with the rest of it's kind.
Cons
After installation am still trying to figure out how to generate and print tickets. IF there is anybody out there that can help, I will appreciate the assistance, as this would help to avoid using PARACETAMOL. I am testing the software for a client.
Summary
The software can be good if the owners can be a little end-user friendly. I have tried calling the owners but no response. No documentation to support the software.

"Not TEH Greattest but for free..."
Version: HandyCafe 2.1.34 se
Pros
Quick to install, easy interface, works out the box with little interaction (read bottom-line), Can work with most non-64 bit systems.
Cons
Each ticket needs to be printed on an individual sheet of paper, doesn't work with receipt printers, pop ups via the client (workaround is available to divert some of it), lose your password and/or fail to read the instructions and you're screwed.
Summary
Really the program is what it is, it's a light-weight program which has a lot of heavyweight features built in. One minor setback would be the non-configuration of the wallpaper to log in and the constant need to have a full page wasted to print out ONE time code. The username/password bit for the walk-in tickets is also difficult to deal with. If this program would get rid of the popups and/or have customizable banners for it's client, that would be one star. Printing to an actual receipt printer or at least the ability to print multiple tickets on one sheet is an added star. But both features are currently lacking.

"This software is great. I'm using it for more than a year."
Version: HandyCafe 2.1.34 se
Pros

"Good for free, not if you pay"
Version: HandyCafe 2.1.34 se
Pros
As a free version works good, the server side is well done, but not good enough to pay for it.
Cons
No documentation at all. You'll have to learn by yourself. The client side has to be manualy deleted after being "uninstalled" from inside the options panel. You don't have to guess thes one anymore ;)
All the restrictions you set on the client from the server application will remain if you uninstall the client.(ex: still no access to hard drives, etc...) so you have to remove all restrictions before uninstalling.
Like i said, ok for free but not good enough to pay for.
