We're suckers for shortcuts, and this application offers some clever ways to access your favorite folders. Click on Handy Folders' system-tray icon to bring up its very intelligible interface. The program comes with preloaded shortcuts to your system folders, desktop elements, Control Panel, printers and faxes, Recycle Bin, and disk drives.
You can easily browse through your folders and add your favorites to the menu. Handy Folders lets you create categories to better organize your folders, and you can configure the program's properties to display buttons or drop-down menus.
It also adds a toolbar to your Windows Explorer Open/Save As dialog box, and for speedier access, you can insert a user-defined hot key to call out your Handy Folders menu. Although the program grants you only 15 days to test it out, that's 15 fewer days you'll have to dig through stacks of folders just to get to the ones you want.
