Why use just one search engine, when you can put more than half a dozen at your fingertips? The Groowe Search Toolbar is one of an ever-growing category of Internet Explorer toolbar add-ons that provide access to a variety of search tools, in this case including Google, Yahoo, AskJeeves, MSN, Amazon, and Download.com. The interface is a bit cluttered, but we found it fairly convenient in practice. The list of favorite sites can be customized, and the toolbar adapts itself to the search engines you choose. For instance, it displays buttons for different download categories when working with Download.com. The pop-up-blocking function is fairly rudimentary, unfortunately. The software does not have the ability to block floating ads, and doesn't support "whitelists" that allow pop-up windows from trusted sites. Nevertheless, if you often work with a variety of search engines, Groowe might provide a welcome set of shortcuts.

Pros
I love this in firefox so decided to DL the IE version too. What a bummer...when you click the 'add search engines' button to add more site searches that you want you just go to a blank page at the authors site.
So no way of customizing=no use over other programs really.
Cons
Bad for not allowing addition of new sites!

This is an excellent search tool bar. All the major search engines & a more than decent pop up bocker. Not sure what other reviewer is on about... this really works & puts all toolbars into one... Great job

Allows you to search on practically any engine. Firefox and IE versions availible. Dynamically changes for access to a search engine's best features (Altavista has babelfish button, Google has gmail button, etc.)

Does not provide spyware or popup blocking (shouldn't be a problem for Firefox users)
