This desktop utility allows you to adjust the transparencies of open windows, but it makes things more difficult than they need to be. Upon installation, Glass Window writes to the system tray. Double-clicking the icon brings up a tiny interface with a few words written in Spanish. Unless you can read Spanish, you'll be at a loss as to what to do next. To proceed, drag and drop the interface into the window where you want the transparency applied. To adjust the transparency level, you must drag and drop the icon into the window and hit the Control key. To turn off the transparency, drag and drop the icon while hitting the Shift key. You can apply different transparency levels to different windows. While other applications are more user-friendly, once you get the hang of it, this freeware is relatively simple to use and would suffice for users just looking for basic transparency features.Publisher's description

Version: Glass Window 1.5
Pros: I always ask myself, "What would be easy for my parents?" This would be easy for my parents. A window with a wine glass pops up, and you drag the wine glass on the window you wish to be transparent.
Cons: The pop-up window is gawdy. Like everybody else has been saying it is not in English. You can sort of get the message, "Da click arrastra y suelta," but not really.

Version: Glass Window 1.5
"You won't get this anywhere else"
Pros: I think this a really cool program, very advanced considering the lack of support for transparency on the windows shell, it's cool and easy to use, i've been looking for to a feature like this for a long time...
Cons: a little rought on the edges, exiting the program causes strange behaviour on transparents windows, drag and drop window could look nicer, need for english license agreement, for those who really read them.

Version: Glass Window 1.5
Pros: Interesting concept.
Cons: Even though it was a little troublesome figuring it out, once i did it really wasn't worth all the work. Who needs to see through folders. It is just another Vista bell or whistle.
