Version: Furcadia 23B
"Antiquated user interface, but sufficient and successful"
Pros: For the most part, players enter the world to either roleplay or socialize as a furry (an anthropomorphized animal), mostly using text. It has an enormous number of players, a long history, and its gender ratio is a bragging point. Note that some features are for-pay, and there are sectioned-off worlds which contain strict in-character roleplay or adult roleplay.
Cons: The interfaces are obviously old and seem very antiquated, but this does help keep things focused upon the textual elements. If you want a more visual experience, try the 3D graphics of Second Life; there are many areas there with similar themes. SL is also quite a bit more flexible, if you'd rather be a non-furry or use it as a 3D platform for other applications.
