In spite of this program's support for multiple formats and speedy output, it's tough for us to enthusiastically endorse a conversion application with an overly restrictive demo. Though Audio Converter Express's main window is stylish, it's also quite cluttered and could intimidate newbies. The app can convert most common audio and video codecs into a number of formats, including OGG, MP3, WMA, WAV, VOX, and RAW. As you might expect, the program lets you configure the audio quality of your new files, and in some cases, you can employ VBR compression and apply high- and low-pass filters. You also get a basic built-in player. Sadly, the demo will only convert half of any given file, so you won't actually be able to put it to any real-world use without registration.
