Like many similar programs, this tiny freeware utility converts audio files among four popular digital-audio formats: WAV, MP3, WMA, and OGG. But Free MP3 WMA Converter succeeds where many of its peers fail: it provides a simple, reasonably attractive interface that puts commonly used features up front and less common ones where they don't get in the way.
Conversion is a simple matter of dragging and dropping the source files to the application window (or browsing to them), selecting the output format, setting any advanced options, and hitting the start button. The program comes with a basic yet convenient utility for editing file tags, and a separate audio ripper with built-in support for FreeDB.
If you're looking for a simple, effective, no-cost audio-conversion app, Free MP3 WMA Converter is a natural choice.

"Works fine, but always wants one to buy the payed vers."
Pros: Works great
Cons: After a while it askes to register free, but the registering is not available any more, so it bothers after each and every prozess again.
Summary: If it calls it self free, it should be free. If a paid version geves one any extras or if it ask one to get the paid version every time one starts the program, thats fine with me, but not this way.

"Very easy to use to convert IPOD mp4 to standard MP3"
Pros: Very easy to use. Easy to install. Easy to understand how to use but be careful to watch where you are sending the converted songs. Mine ended up in the same folder as they came from, which meant had a duplicate of every song.
Cons: None really, just a little bit slow in the converting of songs from MP4 to MP3
Summary: Brilliant! Thank you to the developers.

Pros: downloaded quickly.
Cons: installs a virus, picked up by sophos immediately but still a blatant waste of my time.
Summary: dont bother wasting the 6 meg.

"Doesn't work on 64 bit Windows 7"
Pros: Seemed like a cool freebie.
Cons: Message upon install that it is "not compatible" with current operating system. Makes reference to check whether OS is 32 or 64 bit.
Summary: Could not use.

"The program worked great but installed a virus."
Pros: Converter worked perfectly
Cons: Installed a virus called zwunzi.exe I noticed the process running in task manager. I also noticed some issues with search engines re-directing my default search provider to another service.
Summary: Don't install this program unless you want a nasty virus that re-directs your default search provider. Research what I am telling you and you will see that there are many who have discovered this little nasty.
