Publisher's description
From Laconic Software :This nifty screensaver sets your desktop ablaze. When you fire up Free Fire Screensaver (no pun intended), each item on your desktop - including icons and all open windows will appear to catch on fire, glowing and emitting a smoke effect. The crackling and popping sounds and chimes that accompany the screensaver are very nice. Also, you can set your favorite music for playing in background. Using the enter key, you can even capture a picture of your burning desktop. Also you can turn on and off flame sound and music on-the-fly without exiting the screensaver.
Version 1.2 introduces two nice built-in soundtracks (Romantic and Melancholic) and allows to play any playlist files.

Version: Free Fire Screensaver 1.2
Pros: I just had to download it to see what the deal is.
Cons: Er,remember "Porno For Pyros"?

Version: Free Fire Screensaver 1.2
Pros: My computer freezes a lot, so I set this screensaver to come on in 1 minute to thaw it out.

Version: Free Fire Screensaver 1.2
Pros: I like it's easy set up and its interesting look. This is a very nice quality screen saver. My ACER 5100 laptop with 3 gigs of ram and quad core AMD has no problems with it at all.
Cons: Very small print and almost looking like a TOS agreement the author tried to sneak in a tool bar search program and change the home page preference. I almost fell for it. It's late and I am tire. Just pay attention to what you click.

Version: Free Fire Screensaver 1.2
"Good, but may Cause Problems;"
Pros: Not a cheesy screensaver of a scrolling bitmap. Or a picture of cheese. This actually looks like fire.
Cons: First, you should know that "Free Fire Screensaver" consumes a lot of resources. My "CPU Usage History" jumped anywhere from 50% to 100% while this program was running.
Second, the first time I ran "Free Fire Screensaver" with the default settings, both my desktops got locked up. I couldn't see anything but the start menu. I almost threw this software away.
However, you can still run it with these settings and it should work.
My "safe" settings:
Main Settings - Screensaver Exiting
Select "Exit the screensaver immediately"
Do not select "Ignore Mouse Move"
Sound - Background Music
Select "No Music"
good luck and flame on
