FormIDEA Teacher's Special Edition (TSE) is specially designed for teachers and educators to process test assessment forms using Excel. It combines the intelligent imaging technology with the power of Microsoft Excel to deliver automatic and cost-effective test scoring and analyzing solutions to your desktop. Unlike the traditional technology of using pre-printed test forms specially made for OMR (optical mark recognition) devices, FormIDEA allows you to use an image scanner to scan test forms made from an office printer or copier. It creates an image-enabled gradebook for you to automatically capture, validate and analyze test data in real time. Invalid responses (e.g. missing marks or multiple marks in a question) can be automatically detected with highlighted data regions on the screen for instant validation. You can search and retrieve test form images at any time to review and verify any questioned data in the gradebook. Also, with FormIDEA reference archiving support, you can always keep your saved and unaltered digital copy and hand back the scored tests to students.
