Publisher's description
From Sound Doctrine :FontFrenzy allows you to remove and back up all fonts that were not originally installed with Windows. Every time you boot your PC, Windows must load all installed fonts, which can slow down the boot if you have a lot of fonts installed. This program allows you to safely remove them, keeping a snapshot, so that they can be restored later if needed. In addition, it also offers management features to preview fonts, remove selected fonts and to install new ones.

Version: FontFrenzy 1.0 build 71
"Very good does just what I wanted."
Pros: Just what I needed to remove the 160 extra fonts that programs dumped on me. Easy to reinstall them if needed. I downloaded the zip of the program and not the installer because McAfee says the instalition pgm is a PUP that might install a BHO, but I doubt it. The zip'd version does not (I checked with BHO Demon) and McAfee does not ID the program as a PUP (just the install) - which probably just happens to match the name of some install program that is a PUP.
1st run of the program added just two keys to registry. Of course, telling it to remove fonts made lots of changes to the font section of the registry.
Very nice. Highly recommended if you want to clean off some fonts.
Cons: Almost none. Have to register it to keep using it but that is no big deal. I used a spamgourmet address. No spam yet, but too soon to know for sure.

"Glitch in program and uninstall caused problems"
Pros: It took all my computer fonts, plus anything I added.
Cons: I found the instructions difficult for the average user, but my biggest gripe was after a glitch in the program, I had difficulty uninstalling. I was just going to reinstall, but after the problem I went on a search for another program. I would rather pay than deal the problems.

Version: FontFrenzy 1.0 build 71
Summary: The software looked interesting and would have been a time-saver in terms of reducing the memory hit the fonts incur. The main gripe I have is that the publisher chose to mislead the CNet users by saying it's free when it's not free. It's Nagware.

Pros: None
Cons: Pest Patrol detected an Un Named Trojan on install and the MyDailyHoroscope during uninstall. After the trojan on install I decided not to even keep it on my system. Just be aware.
