Though it isn't feature-rich, this free tool provides simple ways to access your folders and applications by creating shortcuts in the My Computer or Control Panel folder.
Folder2MyPC's tabbed interface is a bit drab, but proves very easy to use. It's a simple process to browse your computer to select folders or executable files and create shortcuts for them. The options to add a new folder title, tool tip, or customized icon to your shortcuts is a nice touch that makes organizing and managing your shortcuts easier.
You can create shortcuts for folders and executables in the My Computer folder, but you can only add shortcuts for executables to your Control Panel folder. Unlike similar programs, you can't create shortcuts in other folders like My Documents. Even so, Folder2MyPC does exactly what it claims to do, and anybody can use it.

A choice of type of a created shortcut: the Explorer opened in the same window or in new. An opportunity of a choice of an alternative icon for a folder.
It is possible to create folders both for the current user and for all users in system. Addition/change/removal of any program in a folder My Computer and in Control panel. Program loading for display of new folders, after creation of necessary folders is not required. Now includes translation on: English, French, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Spanish, Polish, Turkish and Ukrainian languages.
