This software automatically takes control of Safari and resets your home page with MyStart (http://www2.mystart.com/?pr=vmn&rlz=1V1ETSG&id=mystartggtb&v=4_0). That's what I call hijacking one's computer.

I downloaded the software and it seems to work as advertised... though quite slow for "fastest downloader"
Cons
It includes code to set your homepage to MyStart... there is a lot of mention on the webs that MyStart is linked to a Trojan... CNet... care to verify this info?
Even if the homepage re-direct is innocent, this move does not bode well for MyStart if they wish to become a credible search engine, and it doesn't give a very sound recommendation to the character of the company issuing the software that CNet is recommending.Summary
I only downloaded the software because it was on CNet's top list and as such, I figured it would have a good reputation. I guess I'll think twice before downloading from CNet again (unfortunately).

Would be a great improvement for downloaded mp3's to be inserted into a dedicated 'FFYTD' playlist like EVOM and also Limewire and Frostwire before they were forced to close.

"Decent converter but awful error handling"

Pros
It converts youtube videos to popular formats (mp3, mov). It works well when creating mp3's from music videos. If you stick to this, you'll be fine.
Cons
Hi-def video conversion simply doesn't work out of the box. Converting anything to h.264 simply crashes. The worst part of it is that it crashes only after the download so if you wait 15 minutes to download something and the converter crashes, your only option is to download it all over again.
If you want to use this to pull videos from youtube, you might run into some issues. Just be ready for that.Summary
It's free so I suppose you get what you pay for. Just make sure you stay in low-def (or audio only) land. There's really no documentation or anything but, seriously, it's a free piece of software so don't expect much.
