The major advantages to Family Key Logger are its simplicity and tiny size, but it loses points in terms of usability and security. Once it's activated, Family Key Logger will record all keystrokes performed on a machine without impacting system performance. Unfortunately, the resulting text file is difficult to analyze, and you won't find any filtering options to make things easier. Even worse, the security level is low; the program is not protected with a password, and anyone who can guess a hot-key combination can change settings. You can also see and remove the program from the Uninstall Programs list. Though it's not visible on the taskbar when running, the utility can be easily stopped with any process-management program such as Process Explorer. Ad-aware easily detected Family Key Logger as well. Straightforward but less than stealthy, Family Key Logger can only be recommended for monitoring inexperienced users, such as young children.Publisher's description
From KMiNT21 Software :If you want to know what others are doing on your own computer while you're not at home (or at the office), use Family Key Logger. Set options for the program to start in Hidden mode or to hide in the task list, so that it makes itself invisible to anyone. When you return, you can just press a particular key to unhide it. Family Key Logger lets you track which programs were run on your computer while you were away. It lets you read the e-mails sent, see the Web sites visited, and review the information entered in forms (including information that is not usually openly displayed). In other words, you get the detailed information on keys pressed and the applications that the user typed them in while Key Logger was running.
Version 2.71 features minor improvements and bug fixes.

"BEWARE-Cannot delete from computer. Prompts to register when booting comp"
Pros: It does register key strokes, but all users know it's on the computer.
Cons: BEWARE-I cannot get this software off my hard drive. When turning on computer, a window pops up to prompt registering. Cannot get rid of this. The person I was "spying" on now knows this is on the computer. I emailed the software developer for help and they have not responded. Will probably end up reformatting hard drive to get rid of this program.-BEWARE

"ABSOLUTE CON - Paid for via credit card but registration key not emailed!!"
Pros: Nothing - cant access it!!!!
Cons: I paid for unlocking this software over a month ago and they are supposed to email a 'registration key' within 1 day. No key ever emailed and I have contacted them 3 times in an attempt to sort but have had no reply to emails. Now having to contact credit card provider to get my money back!!!!! Dont risk it!!!!

Version: Family Key Logger 2.71
Pros: NOTHING. Does what it says, but wont go away
Cons: Will NOT uninstall. Make your computer freeze for a moment a LOT. And when you uninstall, you will think you did. It will say its gone. But restart your computer. It will still be there. I am gonna format my hard drive just to get it off. Get Home KeyLogger. I promise, this one is NOT the one you want. It WONT GO AWAY!!!! And I liked Home Key Logger Free Edition way better anyway

Version: Family Key Logger 2.71
Pros: Thank you so much for this software. I can now know what other people are doing on my computer. so good to be true . I have been trying to think of a way , of how I can know what other are doing on my PC , but now I have finally find your product which I appreciated it so much.
Easy to imstall, easy to understand as I am not so good in english but I can just went thru downloading it with no problem at all. All my family and others who are using my PC have not the slightest idea that I can just come around and view all their doing on my PC. They don't know that Mr me is working behind the scene seeing every fingure stroke they had on my keyboard. ha ha ha . Thank you again for your knowledge in making this software. It's awsome.
Cons: The only thing that I'm not so happy about is registering. Since I'm from this very small country of Tuvalu still some 20 years behind this modern world. It's hard for me to send money thru mail. There are many problems with cash being sent thru mail and end up on wrong hands. Many times our national bank don't have US currencies, and beside I don't think any local have any thing like ''credit card'' or any sort of card. Everything here is cash purchase. and to do a bank draft will cost me double the amount you want. What concerns me is family keylogger '' start in hidden mode '' very soon someone will notice this icon and open it, and I'm done. When someone starts the computer this icon is right there on the tray, though I have press '' hide icon '' on mouse, it always pop up. So what you suggest I do with this icon to totally hide it away from tray, unless I press the combination keys to reveal it ?
