From 3-Lib :FAIRWAY is the famous 3D tournament golf game/simulation, allowing you to play a one or two-player four-round tournament against 20 top computer players. You have a full set of clubs to choose from (in fact, you get to carry the whole lot round with you, which is something you couldn't do on a real course!) and factors as wind, slope and bunkers wreak their usual havoc with your scoring... 100% fully working, no limits, no time restrictions, etc. Distributed as freeware. If you really like it, a shareware donation would be appreciated, to support future development.

"A fast-paced and accurate golf simulation."
Summary: Fairway's origins are on the old Psion palmtops, and this shows through in places. The conversion to full colour on the communicator works well though, with animations and sound effects throughout. You'll need to know a bit about playing the game... read more >>
