Facebook for BlackBerry is the perfect symbiosis of functionality and ease. So long as your carrier is supported and you've set up your Facebook profile to receive messages on your mobile phone, you'll be able to use all of Facebook's core functionality to interact with friends. What you lose in being able to use third-party apps you partially gain in the ability to upload photos from your phone directly to your profile.
Updating friend details can take some time, and it would be nice to see a few more features fleshed out, like searching for friends instead of merely inviting them. However, the interface is cleaner than Facebook's mobile site and does an excellent job keeping the lifeline of your profile open until you can get to a computer to take your turn at Scrabulous.

"Facebook burns through your battery on Blackberry"
Pros: I found very few reasons to have Facebook on my BB
Cons: The hourglass pops up constantly and the battery fried in less than 8 hours. If you are going to use Facebook on your BB, you must LOGOFF.
Summary: Why bother - too much time on Facebook anyway

"i like that it is free to download"
Pros: i like that it is free and i can receive notifications.
Cons: im not sure if i can download it straight to my phone.
Summary: i like it, and hopefully it will work on my phone :)
