Facebook users struggling to keep up with their accounts will like this free app that helps with checking messages, invites, friends' requests, pokes, and notices on the social media site. Facebook @Desktop from Olcinium is a dot NET app that provides access to this information directly on your desktop. With the new app, there is now no need to log in to the account itself to be instantly updated.
The free software, once installed, will place an icon in the task bar. Once a message is posted to your Facebook account, it will be relayed to your desktop as an alert. The application also permits the setting to be configured as to which types of notifications are to be received and how often the Facebook account is accessed for updates. Facebook @Desktop allows users to post messages directly to their wall without signing in, and the integrated Web browser will bring them to the Facebook Web site with a single click.
Facebook @Desktop is another tool that brings additional flexibility to how people use Facebook. There were no issues found with the installation and uninstallation of the software during the review.

This is nothing but an Internet Explorer add on
Summary
This is nothing but an Internet Explorer add on. Check your Facebook logins and you will find that Facebook thinks it is Internet Explorer. You would be better off running a real browser like Firefox or Chrome or Opera and have more options to choose from than to use a piece of I.E.

The notification are a little on the timid side, if you are not watching that corner of the screen you will miss them
The Browser needs to be re size able. It is to full screen and in your faceSummary
Over all it is a cool little program. I would recommend it. Even if it was not the only face book only program that I could find that works.
