The face: the portrait of the soul, the autobiography of the person. Well, they're computerizing everything these days. With FaceGen Modeller, even klutzy artists can create a realistic 3D model of a human head in no time. The program gives you tons of parameters to configure, including race, skin, facial areas, and emotions. The results are very convincing. The most amazing feature generates a 3D model based on a photo, and in our tests, the resemblance was uncanny. You can save 3D models to a number of common formats, such as 3DS, LWO/LWS, MA, OBJ/MTL, VRML1, VRML97, or XSI. The interface is straightforward, though somewhat overloaded with tabs. So what's the catch? The $495 price tag. It won't faze professional artists, but it'll put a look of sticker shock on the average user's face.Publisher's description
