Most people don't need anything more than a Web browser and a Macromedia plug-in to watch Flash videos. However, if you want a hair's breadth more control over your viewing, this open-source freeware program will do the trick.
FLV Player's exceedingly simple controls allow you to navigate backward and forward through videos and play them in a loop. You can also adjust the volume, mute it, and adjust the size of the player. The Settings menu provides some basic control over program behavior, such as opening a new player window when double-clicking on an FLV file and remembering previous settings. And that's about it.
Our only major complaint is that the display window doesn't automatically resize to the size of your movie frame. We hope this problem will be remedied in future versions. FLV Player isn't a must-have by any stretch, but it's a decent tool for penny-pinching Flash developers.

"The best FLV splitter"

this program works like a flv-splitter. without it, you can't play most of flv videos using any player even if you download K-lite and any other codecs. whether you like it, you have to download this program along with ffdshow in order to play flv vidoes and make this format supported by many players.
Cons
it lacks many good features that exist in most other players. and above all, when video is zoomed, picture quality will get worse. therefore, USE THIS PROGRAM AS A SPLITTER NOT A PLAYER.

"Great product, but beware of bloatware when installing"

Product works as advertised. Fast and easy to use.

The questions during installation about other software to install. They should be presented more explicitly as products that are not necessary for the flv player. Less attentive users probably just click OK to install them, thinking that they're needed.

Clicking on program open opens a generic media add page.
Clicking on add allows you to browse to harddrive/folder.
Add files to play list by selecting files to play.
PLAY starts the list, FFWD takes to next item.
X to exit the application.
NOTE: Click on DECLINE to bundled software if you don't want to install them. ACCEPT to install them.Cons
Bundled software DECLINED installation still added FREE MUSIC DOWNLOADS, FREE GAMES, and FREE DOLPHINS SCREEN SAVER links on desktop.
I know FREE software needs to pay the developer so I tolerate them.
I made sure that my AntiVirus and SpyWare are turned on.Summary
