Conquer the World, or one of 12 other maps, with up to nine computer opponents, or play against a friend (LAN/Internet and Hotseat). You also can create maps and campaigns of your own and share them with others. The game's options include seven computer personalities to choose from, the ability to chat while playing, submit high scores, strongholds, statistics, and the option to play with or without dice. x64 version available.

Version: Empire XP 5.2
"DON'T Download - TOO ADDICTING!"
Pros: A truly great game can be one of the simplest. Great game play, good options, great for those of us who wish we could rule the world, but are too busy or lazy to actually do it.
Cons: Wish you could set up pre-set preferences for starting new games.
